The Council should task the Independent International Fact-Finding Mission (FFM) for the Sudan to prepare a flash report to document atrocities being committed in and around El Fasher.

FIDH, together with its member organizations in Sudan (SHRM and ACJPS), as well as additional undersigned member organizations from across Africa and the Arab region, express grave alarm following the fall of El Fasher to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on 26 October 2025, which marks a catastrophic escalation in Sudan’s ongoing conflict.

In this release, ACJPS highlights a concerning situation where at least 346 children across five shelters in El-Fashir, North Darfur, urgently need help, as their health has deteriorated to a critical nutritional stage.
