This report documents a severe humanitarian and health crisis in Sudan during June 2026, resulting from the ongoing armed conflict and widespread violations in several states, particularly Darfur, Kordofan, Blue Nile, and White Nile.

Approximately 19.5 million people (41% of the population) are facing acute food insecurity, with an estimated 200,000 people expected to enter a state of catastrophe in the coming months. The country has also witnessed widespread displacement, including more than 13,000 internally displaced persons (IDPs) in South Darfur in a single week, in addition to thousands more displaced in various other areas.

On the health front, epidemic diseases such as cholera, measles, malaria, and hepatitis have spread, with widespread deaths and infections reported. These include 19 cholera deaths in Wad Banda and approximately 97 total deaths according to official sources, as well as more than 75 deaths among children due to measles. The bombing and drone attacks have also resulted in civilian casualties and the destruction of essential infrastructure, including electricity, water, and healthcare facilities, leading to the collapse of vital services in several cities, most notably El Obeid.
