Between October and November 2025, the humanitarian crisis in Sudan deteriorated significantly due to the ongoing armed conflicts in Darfur and Kordofan, which have had ripple effects across other regions.

During October 2025, Sudan witnessed a sharp escalation in conflict, particularly in Darfur (Al-Fashir), White Nile, Gedaref, and Khartoum. Civilians were subjected to grave violations, including extrajudicial killings, arbitrary arrests, enforced disappearances, sexual violence against women and girls, and looting, with hospitals, schools, and vital infrastructure are being targeted.

This report details the ongoing decline in the human rights situation in Sudan during July, August, and September 2025, attributable to the persistent conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces. The conflict has expanded into new regions, leading to increased civilian casualties and significant breaches of international humanitarian law.

This report reviews the humanitarian and health situation in Sudan during September 2025, focusing on grave violations committed against civilians. The report reflects the repercussions of the ongoing conflict, the health collapse, and the spread of epidemics, along with direct and indirect attacks on civilians and their property.

Through interviews with victims and their families, the research sheds light on various forms of human trafficking, including sexual exploitation, forced labor, child recruitment, forced marriage, and exploitation along smuggling routes in Sudan.

This report aims to shed light on the situation of human rights defenders in Sudan during the armed conflict that has extended from April 2023 to date, with a focus on the threats and violations faced by activists, volunteers, and humanitarian, health, and human rights workers. The report is based on field reports and direct testimonies from victims and witnesses, as well as information monitored by a documentation team that adheres to confidentiality to ensure the safety of sources.
