This programmatic report covers the period from January 2025 to December 2025. ACJPS expresses its grave concern regarding the arbitrary detention of at least 643 women currently held in the Korea Prison in Nyala, South Darfur, an area under the control of the Tasis political and military alliance.

In this release, ACJPS provides an update regarding one of the cases in which a Sudanese woman was sentenced to death by stoning by the Criminal Court in Blue Nile.

Two Sudanese women have been sentenced to death by stoning in separate cases in Sudan, raising serious concerns about Sudan’s compliance with its international human rights obligations, particularly following its ratification of the UNCAT
